Who we are

Driving Test Helper is sold by Driving Test Helper, a sole trader ("we", "us"). You can reach us at helperdrivingtest@gmail.com. These terms apply whenever you buy or use the software.

What you're buying

A one-time purchase of digital content: access to the Driving Test Helper Chrome extension and Android app, tied to the email address you use at checkout, usable on up to 5 devices and up to 2 licence numbers. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.

The purchase price buys the software only. The DVSA test fee is separate and you pay it to them, on their site, at their standard price.

Who can use it

You need to be 17 or over, the minimum age to hold a provisional licence and book a practical test in Great Britain.

Your access is personal to you. Use it for your own test, or for one learner you are helping, such as a son, daughter or partner. Don't share your sign-in.

In line with that, each purchase can be used with up to 2 different licence numbers. That's enough to cover you and one learner; it also stops a single purchase being resold and run through an endless stream of other people's licence numbers. Immediate supply and your cancellation rights

Because this is digital content supplied immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree to immediate supply and acknowledge that you waive the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once supply begins. All sales are final. See our refund policy, which also sets out the statutory rights that always remain.

Fair use

The tool fills in the DVSA booking form for you and checks your chosen centres for earlier slots, in your own browser session, at an unhurried pace. It never completes a booking or takes payment for a test; you review and book yourself. Use it in line with the DVSA's own terms of use for their site.

You must not:

• resell test slots, or use the tool as part of a paid booking service
• share, resell or sublicense your access
• run modified copies, or work around the sign-in
• delete and re-create your account, or otherwise churn accounts, to get around the device or licence-number limits
• take the software apart in order to rebuild it as a competing product
• use it in any way that puts unusual load on the DVSA's site

Any of these ends your access, without a refund.

Intellectual property

The software, the name and the icon belong to us. Buying access gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the extension and app for as long as they are available. It doesn't transfer ownership of anything.

Driving Test Helper is independent and not connected to the DVSA. Their name and marks are theirs.

Availability and changes

The DVSA site changes from time to time and the tool may temporarily stop working until updated. We work to restore it promptly but can't guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we can't guarantee that an earlier slot will exist at the centres you choose. If the tool stops working and we can't put it right in a reasonable time, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. See the refund policy.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise our total liability in connection with the product is limited to the amount you paid for it.

We are not responsible for missed test slots, for DVSA decisions, or for the outcome of your driving test. The tool can only find cancellations that actually appear; if none appear at the centres you chose, there is nothing for it to find.

Governing law, and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your own courts.

We may update these terms, for example if the product or the law changes. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top says when it last changed. If a change materially affects you, we'll say what changed rather than editing quietly.

None of this removes the rights you have as a consumer under UK law.
